Day 169 – RING POP

Found this in our candy drawer and decided to draw it. The old ring pop. I was horrified, however, when I read the ingredients. First of all, it states on the packaging, “contains a bioengineered food ingredient.” The first two ingredients are sugar and glucose syrup (also sugar) and it has the dreaded Red 40 dye. And the icing on the cake, “Made in Mexico”. Ring pop, meet garbage.
