The is the palm side view of my left hand gardening glove. It has suede pads to protect the fingertips, palm and that super sensitive area of the thumb where blisters usually form. They work very well…. when I remember to wear them.

Wow. This one was brutal. I tried to draw this ceramic version of a berry basket (I got it years ago from Anthropologie) from three separate angles and there were all disastrous. This is the best of the three and I’m done. I’m headed back outside to rake the yard.

I’m not sure what is more shocking…. the fact that we eat olives on a daily basis in this house or the fact that it took me 104 days to draw an olive jar! We have several sources for our olives but this particular jar is from Trader Joe’s. However, we all agree that the Woodman’s olives are the best.

This is a white Nike Dri-Fit crew sock. What’s harder than drawing it is trying to match over a dozen of them in the laundry as some are 3 months old, 6 months old and others are 9 months plus. You have to match them based on wear, discoloring and thinness at the heel. I’d rather draw it!

This teapot is not the best. It has a nice shape and design but the metal is very thin and the handle and spout get super hot. We are not really tea drinkers here. Coffee is the daily hot drink of choice and tea is reserved for sore throats and winter colds.

First beautiful Spring day and I went overboard on the pansies. I bought 3 flats at Home Depot yesterday and ended up with MORE than enough. I kept pulling pots out of the garage and now I have seven pots of pansies scattered around the patio and front of the house. They are so colorful and give us all that hope for summer blossoms to come. So I guess I bought just enough 🙂

Today is the 100th drawing and it’s Kleenex. I was trying to think of something very celebratory like a party hat or confetti explosion or a $100 bill… and I landed on a boring box of Kleenex (albeit a box with a very interesting abstract floral pattern). So today let’s celebrate the facial tissue! Thank you for being the drippy nose stopper, the bloody nose plug, the booger picker, the napkin substitute and the bug squasher. Apologies to Puff’s and Scott’s but we all know…. it’s Kleenex.

This is a vintage blue Ball perfect mason jar. I think I got it at a flea market somewhere but it doesn’t have the metal lid. I mainly use it for flowers, especially sunflowers, as the yellow and blue combo is always a favorite. Wink wink to all the Swedes 🙂
