This is my husband’s Filson wallet. A very compact, slim wallet made from a heavy duty fabric and chocolate brown leather. It’s a lovely well made, built to last wallet and I feel like Filson should be paying me for all these unsolicited ads… hint hint…But let’s talk about wallets… they are on the verge of extinction thanks to digital wallets on our phone. But remember the wallets of our grandfathers? The ones that had the plastic sleeves for family snapshots. A mini brag book in your back pocket. The small snap pocket that had a few coins and there was more cash than cards. And I can’t help but think of the Seinfeld episode where George’s wallet is finally so packed with receipts that it can no longer fold in half.
