Day 15 – NAIL CLIPPER

This handy device of torture actually resides on our kitchen island. Because when else do you realize that you need to clip your fingernails than when you are in the kitchen? The nail file is utterly useless (why is it even there). The sole purpose is to cut the nails. After decades I have it down to a science but when clipping a child’s nails it almost becomes a medical procedure. There is coaxing, comforting, cajoling, maybe even crying and then the nails are clipped…. in the kitchen.
