Day 14 – COFFEE MUG

The coffee mug. Morning chalice. Goblet of good starts. It is the first thing I unload from the dishwasher before the sun has even come up. I take out two of them. The same two. One for me and one for my husband. The one pictured is his and I won’t ever use it because I don’t like the handle. The graphics and patterns have worn off after years of sanitizing cycles in the dishwasher. They wait patiently by the coffee pot until we hear the magic BEEP… BEEP…BEEP. And then it’s go time.
